Lay It On The Line

These visitors from the heavenly realms crank out some good tunes on Lay It On The Line. The tape, though, suffers from too much headroom--forcing one to crank up the volume quite a bit just to hear the songs clearly.
The music here is promising, showing that Steve Walker knows how to play the guitar. Rhan Miehl, who handles the songwriting chores with Steve, sings lead vocals and plays bass. Ken Grutza lays down a solid drum line. The style is straight-ahead hard rock/crunch metal with melodic leanings.
