Sacramento's Will Haven have previously released two full lengths and have spent a lot of time on the road with such recognizable names as Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, and Fear Factory.
I don't know what I was expecting with this album but whatever it was I was disappointed. While the band approaches the music with a tough attitude, any such results are lost. The music lacks any power and no matter how hard I listen, I just can't find the punch. None of the songs stand out, because they all have the same choppy, sloppy, unmelodic and dull presentation. For the most part the lyrics are all depressing, but the good part is with the vocals the way they are, you fail to really pick up on it. The two good elements about this album are a song titled after Dolph Lungren and some piano parts that are dumped here and there throughout the CD.
