With Korn-like riffs and harmonics at times, these guys rip musically. But, it's hard to concentrate on this great music when the grating vocals steal your attention. The black metal screams here seem unseasoned. Pop in Zao's latest and this disc and hear the difference. Overall, lots of promise. And I really dig this David Rankin artwork boom.
