This band, formerly known as Iron Faith, have come a long way. This new album is easily their best. The biggest improvement has come in the vocal department. Mostly throaty shouts, they fit the groove metal sound well. Some of the tunes, like "Repent," slow down to a British Steel pace, but the vocal lines come up short and there's not a wall of sound accompanying the guitars. Overall, I still get the feeling that Wrench is more interested in reaching the biker crowd than the Pantera crowd, let's say.
