    Wow, this is one of the worst band names I have ever seen. It kind of reminds me when ska bands put the word "ska" into their own band name. It is just extremely tacky and cheesy when straight edge bands add the letter "X" into their name. But hey, whatever floats your boat.

    XfilesX is another New England hardcore band. They are fast and short. 22 songs in just over 14 minutes. They are extremely self righteous and they seem to be militant about their straight edge stance. Their style reminds me of one of my favorite hardcore bands Shark Attack. Short, fast and to the point.

    I dig the sound but I am turned off by the whole self righteous thing. I am straight edge myself but I just don't do the whole judgmental thing about people who aren't. I guess that is my thing. Overall this is a good hardcore album and probably a treat for all those sxe kids looking for a release.
