Sometimes I get in those moods where I want to listen to some music that is lighter than the pop or rock that I usually listen to. It usually comes when I am studying or meditating on the Word of God. For times like those, Unconditional Love by Allen and Allen is the perfect CD. For this CD, Allen & Allen, an inspirational jazz duo, decided to gather together songs from their previous work to make a CD based on the theme of unconditional love, hence the title. This CD features some tracks that are only instrumental (2, 5, and 8) and some that have vocals. Highlights of this CD include "Prayed for You" and "Voice Angel." As an added bonus, this CD includes the accompaniment (performance) tracks for six of the songs. Most CCM listeners have never listened, or even heard of, inspirational jazz, but this should not keep people from checking out this CD. This CD isn't something that many people usually check out, but it is definitely worth a listen.
