attn. this review is not affected in any way by the reviewer's name being argylle--okay, this is probably my new favorite album and/or group. a.p. is made up of buka, dread, and deathwish (it's nickname mania!) and a slew of guest stars including jerome and gyro from mortal, jim thirlwell of foetus, tommy victor of prong, jeff belew of cbx, mark solomon of native son and the late(?) crucified, of course scott albert of circle of dust. as far as industrial goes, it doesn't break much ground lyrically. many Christians will wonder how it's considered a Christian album. i can't help you w/that one. jim starts off the 18 track masterpiece with a spoken word intro then things kick into high gear, speedy, hard industrial. things usually start to get knocked over around here at our place at this point. the whole album is filled with either techno-y industrial or industrial-y techno and a little bit of just about everything else mixed in at some point or another. look out it's the new breed of computer generated aggro music. but there are also two ambient type tracks too. one, "circle" is not only tolerable but enjoyable! there are many songs that will make you want to break things. (which coincidentally is another great reason for us to wholeheartedly endorse this) such as "violent," "gutterboy," "leave me alone," and "skin shed" which is a bit long so it's divided up into three tracks for your listening convenience. i can't say enough good things about this album. on the chart of different ways to have your butt kicked it's "a nuclear holocaust of butt kicking"
