This is not your average hard rock group. They have a female lead singer that really can sing (she's not just there for looks.) If you're into comparing Christian groups to secular groups, they sound a little like Heart. They have some excellent hooks and a great message. One of their songs "The Candle...The Flame" encourages you to carry on the fight through the power of Jesus Christ.
The only thing I didn't like was the use of keyboards on the song "Bishop of Souls," I don't think they were really necessary. They are commercial, so if that's not your cup of tea, think twice before buying it. Otherwise this is a very infectious album.
