This tape crunches to the max! Fans of Kreator and Exodus should enjoy this technical speed metal. It's stylistically somewhere between Vengeance and Deliverance. It's complex speed metal, with tons of time changes.
"Unite" opens the album with a crunch, crunch, crunch before singer Kurt Bachman jumps in with his fast-paced, 100 mph screaming vocals. Most of the lyrics deal with spiritual warfare, judgement, and hope in Jesus.
Bachman handles lead guitar as well as vocals, while Joey Daub slams the drums, which were mixed well. Howe Kraft lays down the bass line, and David Baddorf rounds out the rhythm section with his rhythm guitar chops.
"Vile Hypocrisy" showcases the tightness and musical skills of this thrash band. The title track features an intro that incorporates violins and violas. This kind of creativity is woven all through the album, showing up in newsreel intros and other noises.
