Following in the footsteps of Deliverance and Vengeance comes Believer (from, of all places, Pennsylvania). Combining the new speed trend with some of the best of traditional metal, Believer comes on with a new mix of earfood. (Lots of tempo changes here.) The tape includes three songs: "Unite"; "The Return"; and "I.Y.F." (In Your Face). Lyrics are good and upfront. Their instrumental prowess is clearly evident. The mix is good, but when a guitar solo comes it is mixed up so loud that it chews on your ear (They probably want it that way). Labels who are interested in this genre should definitely look at these guys. The future looks bright for Believer. Hot stuff!
