Metal with melodic hooks, chunky riffs, and dramatic vocals that can run the gamut between Savatage and Dio. Operatic moments. Bits of cheese, sometimes cringable, but not always. Heavy but not thrash or death or black. Perhaps imagine Iron Maiden at 31 rpms. Sensible breakdowns which are somewhat unpredictable. A few bridges are extraneous and drab. Nice European tone at times. This recording sounds so much better than past live performances, and was engineered well. "Fat Man from China" is consciously dogmatic, maybe to its detriment. "Legal Murder" has nice faux-blastbeats. Classic metal dressed up for the modern metal revival.
