This four-member band from Miliani, Hawaii is hot! Once you can get by the low production (which isn't that bad), it's easy to see that this band has real talent. All five songs are really good. Drummer Shaun O'Brian pounds away at his kit so hard it makes me wonder how it stays together. Guitarist Frank Figueroa really has the "chugga chugga" sound down. Lyrically, this band is very creative. "Earn your way, impossible to do/have faith in yourself, the who's blown it big is you/spilled blood on the cross has paid the price/act now, don't wait, this here is sound advice" (Paid In Full). Bloodbath doesn't rehash lyrics. It's obvious that they put a lot of thought into them. Considering the current scene in the underground, Bloodbath hopefully won't stay there too long.
