Heeey Ooooooh!!! I don't recognise them any more!!! Where've they gone, the madmen of BRIDE??? This is already the third demo BRIDE has put out for us since the release of "Silence Is Madness", their third album... And one frankly has the impression that Dale THOMPSON feels like a change of air... It is the sharpest change of direction I have ever seen on the Christian hard scene. Where BRIDE used to verge on speed/thrash, the Bride is now flirting with semi-slows washed over with keyboards... Well yeah...! This amounts to a complete metamorphosis!! Listen to "Sweet Louise" and "I Miss The Rain", where we get piano, synths, female back-up vocals, and slow tempos... Vocally, Dale THOMPSON offers us a great deal of quality (that is nothing surprising), but in a far less aggressive way. His vocals are far cleaner, less scratched. As for the two other tracks, "Pyramid Club" and "Young Love", it is good heavy rock'n roll, which would resemble "Hot Down South Tonight" on "Silence Is Madness" rather more, but slower.
It is very good, but the big BRIDE fans will perhaps find that the Bride is now short on beef...

The guitar solo could easily have been done by G 'n' R's Slash (!). "Young Love", the third song, is a…More from Bride
