What you have here is one solid album. This would definitely fit into the whole indie/emo rock genre. At first listen it reminded me a bit of Sunny Day Real Estate, especially with Barry Lott's emotion filled vocals. What Camber seems to master well on this CD is the use of dynamics to move its listeners. Often they go from a mellow rock ballad sound, to an aggressive post-punk sound within the same song. Melodic choruses, and an overall guitar driven sound help Camber to stand out from many of today's indie rock bands. Anyone who considers themselves a fan of emo, post-punk or whatever you want to call it should check out Camber. Especially those Sunny Day Real Estate fans. Not to say they are ripping off Sunny Day Real Estate, they just have a similar feel at times. They even use a trumpet, and Viola at times on this album. Definitely a band to check out.
