Christiansen is a four-piece indie rock band from Louisville, Kentucky. Their latest EP "Forensics Brothers and Sisters!" is on Revelation Records.
Fans of The Blamed's new album will probably dig Christiansen. However, Fugazi and At the Drive In are probably the two most popular comparisons. Mostly Christiansen just plays experimental bass-driven emocore with clean vocals.
The best part of "Forensics Brothers and Sisters!" is the middle tracks. The consecutive tracks "Portable Museums," "Let Us Now Die Famous Men" and "Transistorized Landscapes" are three of the best songs on the EP. The other three songs tend to be a lot more experimental and less catchy.
Still their quality vocals and ability to mix different musical genres into a song will make Christiansen an interesting listen. Although it's not a must-have EP, this EP gives fans over twenty minutes of music including six songs and a bonus track.
