"Wake The Dead" was one of my most anticipated albums of 2005. I loved Comeback Kid's first album "Turn It Around" and I also loved their live shows as I've been able to see them a few times in the past year with their continuous touring schedule. I saw them at Positive Numbers Festival last summer and I was overwhelmed with the response they got from the crowd and they didn't disappoint anyone. "Wake The Dead" is solid. That is the best way to describe it. If you are a fan of new school hardcore (Bane, Champion, Stretch Arm Strong) you will love "Wake The Dead". It's filled with conviction and reflection. It has great melodies and it's consistent in and out. It's perfect for stage dives and high fives. This is the best hardcore album of the year so far. I really don't like Victory Records and I really don't want to hype them up and I won't so I give all the credit to Comeback Kid for still keeping what they had. Keep doing what you do and we will keep singing along.
