At the Rockfest in Marble Falls, Texas back in July, this band rocked everyone's brains out. Evan Slamcat guitarist Janna Fishback could be seen moshing up front during their set. Could this be because they're both from Tulsa, OK? I don't Think so. The three songs presented here are extremely intense. "Blasphemous Lies" utilized some thrash instincts, otherwise, they're just plain heavy. The other two songs, "Twisted Lies" and the traditional hymn, "Amazing Grace" show a little Slamcat influence, which is alright by this reviewer. This is a really hot effort from a promising young band. The name is pretty catchy too! This should be on everyone's "gotta get a hold of" list. For ordering info, write: PO Box 9392, Tulsa, OK 74157.
