dodavahu is a fun tape to listen to. I like the funky alternative rock direction they seem to be heading in, although it seems from this demo that this direction has not been set in cement yet. Matt Kenenske's vocals stick out and have great character and humor and show possibilities. With a little guidance these songs could be developed into something I'd pop into my tape player quite often. It's fun, but the musicianship needs to be developed, especially the attempts at funk bass (sorry). I really enjoy the lyrical content. "Your idea of evangelism is to take them to a Christian show, and if they like what they see, then maybe you'll let them know." One ballad, but it's not boring at all! Funky-fun rockin'. A couple of choruses are a bit boring, and the production is lame. Look for 'em in the future. (Ed.--Now, I think Allan was being a bit too harsh here. I personally would've given this a ravin' review, because it's fresh, fun, and funky metal/rock. Usually I let the reviewers do all the talking, but this one I think warrants this special attention.)
