This is a cd I really liked. If I could go in and take out a few punk influences from DPW, they would be excellent. Besides that, and the obvious room for better production, this hardcore is right on the money. Imagine Strongarm gone metal mixed with Strongarm gone emo all with screamier vocals. That's pretty much DPW for you. I heard someone describe this cd as a bunch of kids trying to sound like Blindside. I don't know what that person has been smoking. I'm glad I chose to challenge that description because what I uncovered in this cd is nothing like Blindside except for the fact that it is pretty chaotic. The vocals kind of remind me of a mix between Exist and 44Evergiven. The drums provide some unexpectedly good double bass. The guitars are crunching and beautiful, it just depends on which song you feel like chilling to. Solid hardcore all the way around; again, except for some punk influences. This is the kind of cd that you buy and think to yourself after listening to it, "I'm glad I picked this one up." And you will be.
