This isn't a bad cd, but honestly it's probably going to get lost in the shuffle after a week or two. You can probably guess hardcore, and you'll be right. I'd put Withstand right in between NIV and Unashamed musically. Some old-school influence, but not strictly so. Production is decent, but the guitars don't quite come over the top and in your face like, for instance, the latest NIV. They've got good attitude, they have decent songs, they're a worthwhile band. Just came short of really taking it to the next level. Takehold is next to giving these away for $5 though, so for the price you can't beat it.

HM Magazine #74Reviewed by Doug Van PeltThis is hardcore like I enjoy -- lots of heavy grooves, intense vocals, chant bgv's, and dynamics that keep you from getting bored. The production sonics are slightly flat, reminding me of the first Crucified record on Narrowpath / Pure Metal. This keeps the disc from rising above the pack, but I'd still call it essential for your diet and fun to eat. Available from Take Hold Records & Slacker 66Similar sounding releases
