This rap tape is a lot more melodic than PID and a little more rockin' than DC Talk. "We Are Warriors," unfortunately, starts off the tape with a lame mixture of traditional choir music with rapid-fire rap. The result is kinda weak. The highlight is the title track, "E.T.W.," which features the most aggressive guitar and a definite Tone Loc style vocal delivery. It's even got the gall to say, "Crack, cocaine, wild thang, funky cold medinas/ flush them down the toilet." Hardcore rappers beware: This tape uses keyboards, drum machines and horn sequences instead of slappin' bass and screamin' guitars.
