Out of Canada comes Elias, a power yet commercial band with four rockin' tunes. Lyrically, all four songs pretty much have the same idea: that sin is the cause of man's problems, and Jesus is thesolution to man's need. "When things ain't going your way and everything seems hopeless, you need Jesus Christ to pick the pieces off the floor." (from "Loud N' Clear")
Musically, "Vain" is the best tune, which they say is the heavier direction they're heading. The guitar leads here are quite impressive. This song represents the power, while the other three represent commercial. If the band can knock out more songs like "Vain," then this will be a band to watch.
