Emotion is another interesting and talented band from Sweden very much in the same vein as their Swede brothers Modest Attraction. Tip To Toe is a five-song CD released by this four-piece band on their own. The songs are catchy, heavy and very melodic, with good variation. Keyboards are an active part, but in no way overdosed on this extremely well-produced CD that lasts for 19 minutes. The producer is drummer and keyboardist with Modest Attraction, Mick Nordstrom, who also has produced this year's debut album from his own band.

There are no weaknesses to talk about on Tip To Toe, apart from one thing: this CD is too short! This band is more than ready for a deal, and my guess is that Emotion's next release will be a killing full-length album on a major label within a year. After having listened through quite a few very well-done heavy rock albums from Swedish Christian musicians recently, I have to ask this question: "Where on Earth in Sweden is this soundgarden where all these talented and skillful musicians obviously have grown up in? And why aren't there such bands like Emotion, Modest Attraction, Veni Domine, Jerusalem, etc. in my own country Norway?"

Finally, wake up you A&R people out there - Emotion is ready for you; or, let me put it this way: Are you ready for an emotional experience?
