Every New Day is a punk band from Canada. This self titled full-length is their first with Canadian based label Salad Dressing Records.
This is Canada's answer to Craig's Brother. Very similar in style and song format. There are some key differences however, such as some killer guitar leads thrown in here and there which help to liven things up. While most of the CD is hyper-beat punk, "Lost in Your Eyes" is a different style (a ballad of sorts) and in my opinion the best on the CD. While there is certainly no shortage of bands in this genre, Every New Day does a pretty good job. I'd like to hear some more stuff in the vein of "Lost in Your Eyes," but only time will tell the direction they head.

Their first release, Every New Day, is an eight song EP. Can decent lyrics overcome musical deficiencies and an average at best lead vocal? Song to song, this just is not a very good EP. While the lyrics are impressive, musically, there is a lot of room for improvement. It's not…
