The post pop punk emo indie rock group Fairview has a new album out, Far And Few Between. This band was set to tour with Hangnail and Element 101 recently, but unfortunately had to back out due to financial reasons. These guys should continue to rise if they continue to hone their melodic harmonies above the din of emo pop punk instrumentation. I really like the hook they came up with in "Loss For Words." I've heard riffs like this before, but when it's done well it punches. The indie label Salad Dressing Records was smart to pick these guys up.
