Along the lines of Brandtson or Hey Mercedes, Farewell to Fashion and Inez's Split EP, The Price of Fame, plows through nine tracks of aggressive and intense guitar driven emotion. Each band possess capable musicians, as intricate melodies backed by thorough rhythms collide face first with sing along choruses; but, while FTF and Inez have indeed discovered the formula to fit their music into a CD collection cluttered with Deep Elm releases, they fail to advance any further. Tracks from both bands blend together almost as much as on a Huntingtons album. Lack of talent and potential is not the issue holding them back, though — more likely the constraints of time and inexperience.
