Theory 8 Records brings us the 7-song debut from Panama City, FL's Embraced. Titled An Orchestrated Failure, the disc full of frantic, melodic hardcore betrays a band much more experienced than their two years of existence would normally indicate. It turns out there is a good reason for this. The members have indeed been in other bands, and formed Embraced to try something new together. The product is deftly played youthful passion with diverse, strong vocals, intelligent lyrics, wrestling guitars, and a restless rhythm section. There are hints of Shai Hulud, Cave In, and Hopesfall, but not to the detriment of their individual voice.
