Awakened and dedicated to his orthodox Christian faith more than any other time in his life, 70s guitar hero Frank Marino has released a whale of a faith-centered album. At a time when many artists within the CMI are toning down their message, Marino is as crystal clear as can be, testifying of Christ and His sovereignty. Not every song is about God, but there's not a contradictory note to be found. If you've seen him live anytime in the last two decades, you've heard his airy jazz-influenced free-form jamming. In "Heat Of The Moment" and "Avalon" you'll hear traces of his trademark instrumental "Poppy." Musicians everywhere would do well to rediscover this old musical friend.
