Gooch's lead singer can't always hold some of the notes he goes for, but when he is settled into a key his voice knows he does great. The band plays 3-chord pop-rock songs with gusto, and all that. Their CD is called This is Pop?, and it was made in Canada, which is not coincidentally where the band is from. Landmark, MB, to be exact. There is nothing all that peculiar about Gooch. Which is why the name Gooch is so appropriate. It has that average-joe sound to it, you know? But, the reason Gooch is a "Pick of the Litter" band is because they are boiling over with potential. Um. Yeah. Or maybe it's because Lee likes them a lot. Anyway, whatever. Their website is at: www.goochf2s.com
