The duo of Grits has been going at this hip-hop thing for a while, selling plenty of CDs and touring a lot to support their releases, not to mention, re-inventing themselves it seems from one cd to the next. The Dichotomy series, Dichotomy A and Dichotomy B are two CDs, released separately, which is the follow up(s) to the highly successful The Art of Translation.
Dichotomy A is stepping up and out of yesteryear Grits brings to the table a much more head-on attack of hip-hop that is really attempting to tip the scales on Grits hip-hop flava and getting away from the more poppy hip-hop and going into something that just seems to fit, and is needed, in the ever so thirsty Christian hip-hop music market. Whether or not you like Grits or whether or not you like Christian hip-hop, if you like hip-hop, check this cd out.
