Somebody has to tell me, what is the deciding factor between if a band gets put on BEC or Tooth and Nail Records? Why even have the two separate labels, this band could have easily been on Tooth and Nail with the other 10 new punk rock bands they just signed. I guess maybe it's something I will never really understand. I have noticed that the BEC bands seem to be more spiritual in their lyrical content, so maybe that's what it is. It also seems like they spend more money on promoting the BEC bands, as far as full color ads in magazine, CD artwork, and production. This band is pretty much typical punk rock with that sorta new school pop feel. Like the Undecided they seemed to have taken what other punk rock bands have done, and well, do it again. I have listened to this CD quite a few times and nothing really stood out. The guitar work is pretty good, but nothing spectacular, and the rest of the album is pretty much just average. The lyrics get kind of annoying, and the vocalist isn't anything special either. Those of you who really liked Value Pac, you may dig this band. The one good thing about this CD is that it's fun. It's good to turn up in your car and just rock out to, or to skateboard to. But as far as creativity goes, Hangnail's lacking. My favorite track was, "Decision Making".
