If you like commercial rock and roll with 60's sounding guitar leads, then Hearts Cry is for you. This four-member band has released a full-length, nine-song tape of decent music. The first tune, "Millennium," is all keyboards and would be a great concert intro. You don't need a lyric sheet, because Phil, the vocalist, sings very clearly. My favorite tune is "Just The Same." It says, "He's just the same, today as He was in those days." This band's focus is definitely evangelical. Another great tune, "On Bended Knee," is done to the tune of "Come Together" by The Beatles. Not outstanding, but very enjoyable. Give it a chance!
