Could this mean out of sight? The band's second release shows tremendous growth in their lyrical experiences in "Hollywood Proverbs." "Keeping Time" says, "Lord help me keep the time, cuz my time is yours/There is something much bigger than life/You know I'm keepin' time." This track should be played each morning as one of these upbeat "kick in the seat" tunes that give direction. The guitars in this project have a deep, funky alternative, sometimes grunge sound that stays fat in the right places. It's great to have a track that just hits you at your knees and think of the incredible grace and love of God as the track "Dave" hits home with a look at King David and the relationship God showed with him. The parallel to our lives today come through with a slow driving sound that gives emotional strength. "The Big Watuzi" is quite an impressive track. It's got the most upbeat tempo, yet is full of wild delivery. Distorted vocals, wandering rhythms and guitars make this a tune to talk about. Most of the album has a slow funk rock base. A lot of the roots have rock talent.
