The band that loves to make you wait finally has some new recorded material. The bad news is that it's only a 4-song EP, but the good news is that it rips up everything they gave us before. Hopesfall has coalesced. These songs are unique, well-defined, and terrifyingly beautiful. Singing parts blend with desperate, torrid screams like salt and water. Songs get to their fated destination, with melodies that run like tears. Guitars and drums trace each other like newlyweds, and the leads are never indulgent. All of this together forms songs that achieve the same hypnotizing spiritual, emotional imagery of an Unwed Sailor or a Don Cab, albeit by a superficially "louder" modus.
