Idle Cure's music has been gaining acceptance all over lately. Their debut album on Frontline Records is full of a wide variety of hits. It reminds me a whole lot of Foreigner 4 (I think Idle Cure is better). There's a couple rock hits (remember "Juke Box Hero"?) and some great ballads that are picked up by the more commercial radio stations (like "Waiting for a Girl Like You" was). You gotta hear it. The production's flawless. Bloodgood's first encounter with the band describes their diversity well: Bloodgood was at Frontline's offices looking for an opening band for their upcoming national tour. They heard "Breakaway," the killer opening tune on this album, and said among themselves, "We need to look no further. We'll tour with these guys!" After they heard the second song, "Silent Hope," they said, "I don't know. Maybe not."
