Here's a 12-song CD with good sonics and sensible song structures. While there's some screamin' guitar solos here ("Crucified With Christ"), most of the songs would have been cutting edge back in '83 or '84. In fact, II Edged Sword sounds a lot like The Daniel Band. The message is clean and upfront. There's no doubt these guys want their audience to draw close to the Lord. Some of the tunes are worshipful, like the title track/band theme song. One exception is the political tune "Gidget Goes To Baghdad" (Betcha can't guess what it's about!). Another is the love song "Lavanya."
