Here's a pleasant surprise - in-your-face old school punk with a super-tight rhythm section. How tight? Upon first listen, I thought the first song would reveal a death metal band (until the bass guitar and heavy kick drums dropped out and the rapid vocals started). Memories of The Lead pop up, which is due to Ivan & The Reds being fronted by vocalist Christy. She does a fine job of sounding angry and on fire one moment, and adding a subtle layer of BGV's the next. For ordering info, write: 233 W. Walnut St, Souderton PA 18964
