While he was part of the Boston duo Harrod and Funck (whose CDs were produced by the likes of Mark Heard and Ric Hordinski), it was easy to forget that Jason Harrod originally hailed from North Carolina. With the release of his long-awaited solo album, Living In Skin, it's impossible to miss the timeless Southern strains and the richness of his modern acoustic melodies.
