Could the Klank material possibly be improved on? It can when Scott Albert of Circle of Dust is remixing it. With only five tracks (3 X "Downside", 2 X "Animosity"), I tend to feel somewhat short-changed with single releases. Not the case here - I'd pay the full price for any one of the songs here. Especially impressive are the trippy Whipcord mix of "Downside" and the incredible Life After Death mix of "Animosity". The latter track is slowed way down and enhanced with more prominent Gregorian chants to arrive at the best song I've heard in years. If you only buy one CD single in all your life, make it this one.
