The xeroxed-on-pink cover art is humorous. The production is downright shameful. The music is tough, trashy garage rock. In other words, it rules!!! The flamboyant vocalist ranges in style from the likes of the Altar Boy's Mike Stand to your local radical black pastor--yeah, the one down the street. As a band, M & the C's don't sound like anyone--well, at least no one intending to make a living selling albums. They sound rougher, grittier, better!! Now, although M & the C's approach is so utterly disgusting, I want to state that their lyrics (which are printed) are doctrinally sometimes comical or sarcastic, and good 'n' confrontational. One soul-type song, "The Ole Switcheroo", openly and honestly laments a Christian's motives/lifestyle going bad. The final cut, "I Declare", features some interesting (and bizarre) effects, especially "demonic messages" of "Let me in!" repeated intermittently.
