Brutal, Brutal, Brutal !!! Any Metanoia fans will not be disappointed with their latest release. The growls are still as deep as ever and the Christian message has been much more glorified than in their first releases. For fourteen tracks, you certainly get your money's worth out of this CD. There is also a surprising bonus track which is innovative to say the least. Overall, Don't Walk Dead seems to have slowed down a little but has certainly not lost any of Metanoia's trademark heaviness. The guitar riffs have become more creative and the high pitch unblack screeches have been utilized better than on the debut full length release, In Darkness or in Light. An individual breakdown of each track would be very difficult since most of them differ greatly and there are so many.

This album is definitely for any fan of seriously heavy death metal. As a death metal fan, I personally try to get a hold of the heaviest material available to me. This CD disappointed me only in that the music seems to slow down during the growling and often stopped completely for a moment. Besides that, I like this CD much better than In Darkness or in Light. After all, there were only a few songs I really liked on their old CD that didn't get tiring quickly. It's hard for me to pick out a song on this CD that I don't like. There are even a few quirky elements thrown in at times to give character to this CD. Haunting spoken parts also add another experience altogether while listening to Don't Walk Dead. Undoubtedly worth purchasing. For fans of Corpse and Frank's Enemy.
