It's due time for all Embrace the Eternal hating DeathbangaZ to SHUT UP!! Yes, even I, who loved Embrace cannot deny this is Embodyment at their best. Cruel and barbaric American style death takes NOT a backseat! Ranging from sludge to deathy grind, I really miss their old sound. The band made this demo compilation CD because all of the outcry from their fans after the style change...and rightly so! The insert is sorry (No lyrics, weak pic, booklet,) but then again, I really don't care. I was a little upset with the production quality and think the band should have remastered or cleaned-up the demos. This may have been achieved from financing from Solid State Records, but this is death metal so they probably would have run in sheer terror from the big "no" style labels hate. Regardless, you still have 10 (well actually 9) tracks of mutilation. Justice was served by placing Dismembering Death as the first song. You have my permission to maim all who loathe pitchshifters! All of the demo songs are here, Shroud of Darkness, Legion of Damnation, Persecute Me, etc. Even the demos of Golgotha and Religious Infamy and they are NOT the new style. If you want to "X-up", wear spandex, or believe you are some Gothic vampire GO ELSEWHERE!
