if you know much of anything at all about moby's music, forget most of it. he's still mostly techno/ambient but pushes his music even farther on this outing. most everything fits into his usual vein of music except a couple tracks. that doesn't mean this is a bad album at all. even the ambient tracks are listenable. "all that i need is to be loved" is a real industrial butt kicker. i'm not sure, but i think he's using real guitars and/or drums on this one. then you also have "when it's cold i'd like to die" a mellow little number with some female vocals. and "what love" a noisy, punky, angry, wondrous mess. i'm not a big moby fan but i really like his latest disc. p.s. he's a Christian.
