this cd is not too bad. the major problem with it is not enough meat. there are only 10 tracks listed and two of them don't really count as songs. then there are a couple o' those hidden track things. (why do they call them hidden tracks if everyone knows exactly where they are?) the meat you do get though, is good. it's a kind of industrial you don't get too much of these days. it's not beat-you-over-the-head brutal but it's not too wimpy either. if you've heard passafist you know what i'm talking about. the vocals aren't run through the same type of distortion as most other ind. groups. the opener "nice guy" is one of the best on the album. it makes me want to move. "hate disease" is a nice little number as well. "let me go" confuses the crap out of me. i'm not sure whether i should get up and dance or knock something (or homicide) over. it's finished out with a weird one, "black". kind of a spoken word thing. one of the extra tracks is a sample of alabama in "true romance" looped. a little boring, but cool. overall a good, but way too short disc. especially for the $16 i shelled out.
