Even non-fans of Mortification will dig this live video, because the footage is stellar. Hats off to producer extraordinare Neil Johnson on a job well done! The lights are killer, there's tons of good camera angles, and the sound is awesome. I believe it was all shot on film, because the quality is fantastic. Like the "soundtrack" live CD, this is the clearest, most discernable Mortification recording yet.
The raging Black Stump Festival crowd was fired up, adding the energy that takes the show one notch further. There's some interview footage rolled in that reveals more of who Mortification is. This is a great video. It is the best live Christian metal video ever released -- yes, it surpasses the Stryper Live In Japan video footage.
