Boy, the things you can get yourself into. I was quite baffled when I popped this puppy into the deck. A thrash—no, wait. A new wave—uh...not that either. Classical punk over-dubbed with rap metal? Aww heck. Lemme tell ya, Orchestrator covers it all (and I'm not kidding, either!). They manage to cover an 80's blend of punk, ska, rap, thrash, metal, and new wave—all rambunctiously crammed together, tossed into a blender (minus the lid) turned to hyperdrive; the stuff then sprays all over the room. Sound fun? You betcha. Although the lyrics are beyond my comprehension (not to mention few and far between), the music is not. Versatility is the word of the day within this band. Hyperkinetic drums, along with warp-drive guitar makes Orchestrator a safe alternative to those Addicted to Jane (and the other current bumper crop of alternative macrobiotic hippie music).
