The second release from these guys. I like to think of them as the kind of people that could beat Rage Against The Machine up in an alley. Of course, they wouldn't, but their music does. With a similar diversity as Rage or Downset, Payable On Death mixes elements of rap and hip hop with straight ahead hardcore. The message is in your face, like hardcore was meant to be. P.O.D. are not afraid of the fact that they are Christians, but are intelligent enough to keep those who aren't interested. This release shows their depth as musicians, with sections of slower, more mellow instrumental music and various elements of reggae and hip hop. This has the flavor of the streets and it's one rough record from one tough band.
