Song topics can range from the spiritual no-bones and confident "Lessons in Worship," to the deeply personal "Just a Hip-Hop Love Song," but mostly revolve around his street-smarts wisdom. The music's fresh hooks are the base for an equally refreshing experience in Christian music. Peace marks the end of the Casio drum beats and the wanna-be sounds heard earlier in Christian hip-hop and rap. The Risen Son is a believable expression of an artist and a poet.
