for the 1st couple of listens i figured that these guys, minus the vocals, sounded identical to joe christmas & wondered why t&n would even release another band that sounded so ... similar. now i am admitting that i am quite wrong, even though there may be similarities, pedro is quite diff. in a charming way. 5 guys from shoreline, wa with these 6 songs which are almost slower than the average heart-beat, with slappy snare drums, focused vocals, simple gtr melodies & imitative bass. they like to keep it simple, a lot of single note melodies being passed between gtr & bass. they may not be the most complex on their instruments but it complements the vocals. they sing about REAL thots such as drugs, honest struggle and being humbled & learning to rely on Jesus Christ.
