Phillips, Craig, and Dean have done it once again. The harmonizing trio of Pentecostal pastors, have created a CD that, in my opinion, is their best yet. The trio is best know for such songs as 'Crucified with Christ,' 'Shine on Us,' and 'Mercy Came Running,' to name just a few. Their harmonizing voices create music that sends shivers down your spine. On their newest release, Restoration, they have once again lived up to the reputation they have built.

Many of the songs on this CD deal with forgiveness and God's love for mankind. Songs such as 'A Place Called Grace,' talked about a prodigal son coming back to Christ and how he knew there was a place called grace. It talks about how God is his rock when his faith is all gone and how He is his strength to carry on. 'I've Got You Covered' talks about helping people out and giving like Jesus gave His life for us. Jesus paid the price and will cover the difference and we need to do that for others. 'Table of Grace' talks about how we have been invited to the table of grace where the cup is never empty and the plate is always full. 'Freedom's Never Free,' is a good reminder that even though we have freedom in Christ, it was never free, Jesus paid the price.

My favorite song on the album is 'When God Ran.' The words are incredible and it brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. The song talks about a man who has left his faith and one night releases what he has missed out on and prays to the Lord for forgiveness. The chorus to the song is "The only time I ever saw Him run, was when He ran to me, He took me in His arms, held my head to His chest and said my son's come home again. Lifted my face, wiped the tears from my eyes with forgiveness in His voice said 'My son do you know I still love you,' He caught me by surprise, when God ran." It is an incredible song and the instrumental part really adds to the impacting words. They really captured a Fatherly image of God and showed that no matter what God is waiting for us with arms opened wide.

This is an excellent CD. If you are a Phillips, Craig, and Dean fan I would highly recommend this CD. If you have never heard of the group before and want to try out something new, this is the album for you.
